A Collision

I'm a bit hard to please when it comes to worship music, although I acknowledge that the music isn't for me. One artist I really like is David Crowder. As I was driving to work this morning I played the Illuminate CD, his last album. I haven't listened to it in a while and, it blew me away. It's so fresh. I found myself singing within moments. I thought I'd look them up to see when their new album was coming out. So I went to their website to find out that the release date is, in fact, today. By the way - if you buy it on iTunes, you get a video and a booklet. I feel bad not going to Saltmine to pick it up there, but things are tight at the moment and I can't turn down $10 for 20 tracks. I'll continue buying books there. That will help me sleep at night. I think Mardel are the Wal-Mart of stores that sell Christian stuff - so I won't go there. Happy now?!

What's wrong with Wal Mart and Mardel? Sheesh! Snobbery at it's worst!

The big corporate guys driving out the little guys. The little independent guys at Saltmine will probably always be in the shadow of Mardel.
Although, I did shop at Mardel 2 weeks ago to get a book. And, come to think of it - I did get my food from the Wal-Mart food court today. And I did buy some music from the iTunes store.

So, call me evil.
Call me Mr. America.
Call me what you like.

it's funny how wal-mart develops a way to bring the lowest prices on everyday goods to the consumers, yet they still find a way to be pissed about it.

This album was at number 3 in the iTunes charts earlier this week. It's still in the top ten at number 5 I think.

I just got the new album last night. He played "Here Is Our King" at the concert we went to!

He is coming to Olathe in Nov.

I love singing that song at church.
Hope to attend the concert. Maybe they'll have a little more energy on stage this time around.
