Liverpool FC

I simply have to give a shout out to my football team who I have supported since I was a boy. This year they won the Champions League, the biggest achievement in football. Kind of like the World Series of football, but much, much bigger.

They do though, don't they, though?
(sorry, a little scouser saying that no american will quite 'get')

UNITED, UNITED, UNITED!!! I was actually rooting for Milan, but I have this friend from Wales whose grandfather grew up on Liverpool FC, so I may be jumping on the bandwagon. Still can't believe UEFA changed the rules to allow them in the Champions League this year, good thing Gerrard is staying.

Yeah, Gerrard staying was a very important thing for the success of the club this next season. I love that Liverpool have such a good program for coaching local kids, I think Stevie was a product of that.

Oh, and Heath -
Soccer is the real football, dude. American football is just a bastard child of rugby. After all, it's not FOOTball, it should be HANDball.

I have spoken.

United and Chelsea can only dream of winning the ultimate prize in football! The European Cup is Liverpool's to keep. You'll never walk alone!
