I thought it was pretty amazing - best flick of the year in my book. The actors did an incredible job all around. There's a lot more to the story though... I hope people don't limit their impression of Cash only on this movie. I don't expect the rest of the story to come from Hollywood though as the stuff that sells were in the decades covered in the movie.
it was phenomenal. also, i agree that the public shouldn't base their idea of cash on this movie alone. he wrote an amazing book, man in white, which is a totally different view. walk the line was wyatt's first movie; he loved the music. i love johnny, and june was as good as it gets. they just don't make em like they used to.
there were a few things i didn't like about it, though. like why did the "johnny cash" character wear so much black all the time? and if he was really supposed to be that big a hit back in the 50s or whatever, then why haven't any of us heard of him? verisimilitude? verisimilitude?
Leah, that's funny - Alec loved the music too! I hope your boy turns out musical cos Alec's definately going to be in a band and Wyatt would be a great drummer. Greybear will be the lead guitarist, and Alec will be the keyboardist/organist.

it really changed my view of both actors.
