World Cup Fever

I've got my HD package. I've got my HD television. I've got my England shirt. I'm supporting England first, and USA second.
I would have preferred 1080i for all the games, but 720p will have to suffice. HDnet have great looking games in 1080i, but I'm sure 720p will still be a good step up from 480i.

Come on England!

soccer in high definition is like the USA winning the World Cup, it's so amazing it can't be true. (However at the blake house ESPN2 is in low definition television because time warner cable is retarded and doesn't offer it yet).

In the words of Ashley Cole, I guess I'll cheer for the "*&^%$ wankers" of England!

I don't have ESPN2HD either. I called them up and the person I spoke didn't have a scooby doo what I was talking about. The only way to get it in the KC metro area is through Dish Network HD package.

Otherwise, we'll have to stick with good old fashioned Standard Definition. Unless you watch the highlight show on ESPNHD at night and then at least you can watch the goals in HD.

And don't call us wankers. Asshole.

if you get dish network hd you have to pay $200 non refundable for the HD box??!! i guess they are really looking out for their competition (free with TWC). John Harkes and JP Dellacamren are the worst commentators, although balboa and o'brien are not that much better. i have preferred glenn davis and chep messing.

I've seen the movie, Blend it like Donovan. That was pretty overrated, dull, and you never really saw him.
